Juvenile Transported After Bicycle Crash Sunday In Crown Point
At approximately 12:30 PM, Sunday, September 22, the Crown Point Police Department responded to a bicycle versus vehicle incident at Union & Clark streets, according to Crown Point Police.
A minor was riding a bicycle and possibly struck the car, according to sources. The minor was transported by Crown Point Fire Rescue to Franciscan Crown Point in serious condition. The minor was later transported to Chicago for further treatment.
The driver of the vehicle involved did remain at the scene. The matter is currently under investigation by Crown Point Police and the South Lake County Crash Reconstruction Team.
