Lansing Police Investigating Multiple Smash & Grabs
In the past week, Lansing has had several smash and grab burglaries throughout town. On 01-12-21, offenders threw a brick through the front glass door at the EZ Stop pantry located at 3159 191st Pl at 4:21 AM. Once inside, the offenders stole the cash register and several other items.
On 01-14-21 the same offenders threw a brick through the front glass door at La Michoacana located at 19283 Burnham Ave. at 3:35 AM. Once inside, the offenders stole the cash register.
The same blue Toyota was used in both incidents IL registration “BK14781”. The License plate is reported stolen out of Markham. The offenders and the Toyota were used in smash and grabs incidents in Chicago Heights on 01-14-21 as well Police said.
