Lansing Woman Found In Shower After Breaking & Entering In Munster
On September 9th, 2024 around 6:30 PM, Munster Police were dispatched to the 100 block of Beverly Place in reference to a female taking a shower who didn’t belong in the home, according to court documents.
On arrival officers met with new homeowners of the property who advised them that they were currently in the process of moving in when they noticed the glass was broken on a rear door and someone was in their shower.
Officers entered the home and made contact with a female in the washroom now identified as, Domonique Goodson, of Lansing. Goodson was soaking wet and only wearing a towel when she was located. Goodson advised officers that she had purchased the home a few years ago but just recently moved in. When asked for documentation Goodson could not provide officers with a realtor, title, or proof of residency. Goodson was advised to put her clothes on and was under arrest. As she exited the home in handcuffs the homeowner advised officers that she was also wearing their clothes. The homeowners told officers they did not want their clothes back.
Earlier this week Goodson was trespassed from the property by police after neighbors noticed her on the property.
Goodson is now facing charges of Residential Entry / Breaking & Entering – Level 6 Felony and Criminal Trespass – Misdemeanor through the Lake County Prosecutor’s Office.
