Large Disturbance At Up Your Alley Results In 3 Arrests
On January 6, 2024, at approximately 8:15 PM, Schererville Police were advised that Lake County Officers were requesting more units at Up Your Alley (1048 US 41), according to Schererville Police. Officers were informed that approximately 15-20 subjects were actively fighting inside the business. Schererville, Dyer, Crown Point, Highland and Lake County Officers all responded to the scene.
The fight inside the business resulted in one subject being tased and two subjects being arrested. The other subjects involved were then escorted outside by Officers on scene, however the large group of people continued to cause a disturbance in the parking lot. A third subject was later taken into custody in the parking lot.
All three subjects involved were transported to Lake County Jail with multiple charges pending.
