Fire Departments Battle A Blaze Tuesday in South Haven
Tuesday around 2 PM, South Haven Fire Department responded to a structure fire at 410 W. US HWY 6. On arrival crews encountered heavy smoke coming from the roof, according to officials.
Firefighters determined the residential structure was vacant at the time and there were no reported injuries as of 3 PM. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
South Haven was assisted by Liberty Township, Union Township, Burns Harbor Fire, Porter Fire, Boone Grove Township, Portage Fire, Porter EMS, and The Porter County Sheriff’s Department.
