Lincoln Oasis 7/11 Robbed
Illinois State Police units responded to a report of an armed robbery on 8/29/2024 at the Lincoln Oasis 7-Eleven Convenience Store, located at 700 Tri-State Tollway, in South Holland, IL, according to Illinois State Police.
Initial reports indicate that two black male individuals dressed in all black, wearing black masks entered the 7-Eleven as a customer was standing at the register waiting for the clerk. The clerk and a second customer had been in the cooler looking for product that wasn’t displayed in the display case. At this time one of the suspects jumped over the counter and ripped out both of the drawers from the cash registers. The second suspect then pointed a silver handgun at the customer waiting at the counter and demanded his wallet. The clerk and second customer exited from the cooler unaware of what was going on. The second suspect then pointed his gun at the second customer and demanded his phone and wallet. Both suspects soon exited the store and entered a white KIA SUV; however, both suspects then re-entered the 7-Eleven looking for one of the suspects guns. Shortly thereafter, both suspects exited and fled from the area in the white KIA SUV driven by a third suspect.
