Lynwood Police Search For Hi-Jackers

On 12/12/2022 at approximately 6:00 PM, two unknown males ordered an Uber ride-share from a location in Sauk Village, and provided the driver with a fake Lynwood drop-off address, according to Lynwood Police. When the driver arrived in the area of Glenwood-Dyer Rd and Lincoln Hwy, the two male passengers exited the vehicle and demanded the driver to exit the vehicle. The suspects began beating the driver, with an unknown object, in the vehicle and pulled him from the vehicle and continued to beat the driver on the ground. The suspects drove off with the victim’s vehicle, cell-phone and keys, leaving the victim on the ground with severe injuries to his face and head.

The photos are one of the male suspects using the victim’s credit card in Sauk Village and Crete IL.

Lynwood Investigations is looking for the publics help in identifying this dangerous offender! It is believed that the pictured offender is a local in the area.
