Male Found Deceased Late Saturday Night
The Gary Police Department received a call for service on October 26, 2024, at approximately 11:55 PM, reference a male subject down. The caller advised the male was down in the front yard of a residence, located in the 2200 block of Baker Street, Gary.
Officers arrived in the area and located an unresponsive male lying in the front yard. Gary Fire Department arrived on scene and advised the male did not have a pulse and did not have any signs of life.
The male was identified as a 62 year old male from Gary. The Lake County Coroner has not released the identity of male.
Officers secured the scene and contacted Lake County Prosecutor’s Homicide Task Force, Lake County Coroner’s Office and Lake County Sheriff’s CSI.
