Man Charged with Child Solicitation in Newton County
Anthony William Noel, 31, of Brook, Indiana, has been charged in Newton County with child solicitation and inappropriate communication with a child.
According to court documents filed on May 15, 2025, the charges stem from conduct alleged to have occurred between January 24 and May 3, 2025. Noel is accused of knowingly soliciting an individual he believed to be under the age of 14 to engage in sexual intercourse.
He is also accused of using a computer network to communicate with the same individual concerning sexual activity, with the intent to satisfy sexual desires.
Noel was lodged in the Newton County Jail on June 6, 2025, in connection with these charges.

• Inappropriate Communication with a Child – Class A Misdemeanor
