Man Charged With Organized Retail Theft In Boom Lift Case

Jeremy Cyle-Henry Coble, 33, is facing a felony charge following an investigation into the alleged theft of a boom lift connected to a reported repossession in Lowell.

According to court records, Lowell Police were dispatched on May 28, 2025, to Tri-Creek Rentals in reference to a reported theft involving a 2022 JLG T350 35-foot boom lift valued at approximately $10,000.

Court documents state the business owner reported purchasing the boom lift earlier in April through a Facebook Marketplace advertisement and renting it out through Tri-Creek Rentals. On May 27, 2025, an unknown male reportedly arrived at the rental business identifying himself as a “repo man,” claiming the boom lift had been reported stolen by Home Depot in Michigan.

Later that evening, the business owner was notified that a towing company had arrived at the customer’s residence and repossessed the boom lift, providing paperwork labeled as an “Order to Repossess.”

According to the probable cause affidavit, investigators later confirmed Home Depot was the titled owner of the boom lift and that the equipment had been reported stolen in Taylor, Michigan, earlier in May. Police determined the boom lift was located using a GPS unit installed on the equipment and was recovered and transported back to Home Depot.

During the investigation, detectives reviewed photographs, vehicle information, Facebook records, and communications related to the sale of the boom lift. Court documents state that a photo lineup was later conducted, and the business owner positively identified Jeremy Cyle-Henry Coble as the individual involved in the transaction.

Lodged in the Lake County Jail on January 7,2026.
