Man Shoots At Little Caesar’s Because They Are Closing
On 06/13/2021 at approximately 10:00 P.M. East Chicago Officers were dispatched to the area of Little Caesar’s Pizza located at 4739 Indianapolis Blvd. in reference to shots fired, according to Deputy Chief Jose Rivera if The ECPD. Shot Spotter alerted to 20 rounds being fired in the parking lot directly in front of Little Caesar’s Pizza. Officers arrived on scene and were advised that a male black with braids, wearing a white t-shirt,shot into the store from outside in the parking lot then fled on foot southbound.
Preliminary investigation indicates that a male black subject with braids wearing a white t-shirt entered the Little Caesars at approximately 10:00PM and demanded a pizza. He was advised by the employee that they were about to close and had no more pizza’s for sale. The male subject then became irate, threatened to shoot up the place, kicked the exit door open and stormed out, police said. A short time later the male subject returned back and fired several rounds into the store from the parking lot and fled the scene on foot. Nobody was injured from the shots fired.
