Multiple Subjects Arrested Burglarizing Amazon Gary
Gary Police officers saw three vehicle fleeing the area of 15th near the Amazon Warehouse and were able to chase one vehicle and apprehend 5 individuals who were believed to be looting Amazon semi trailers. Three adults and 2 juveniles were apprehended by Police according to Commander Jack Hamady of the Gary Police. While police were processing information at that scene another vehicle pulled up and tried to the get in the site and was apprehended at Amazon by Lake County Sheriff Officers, Hamady told RNS. Three more adults apprehended, by Sheriff Officers. Police are looking to take these individuals and charge them federally for their crimes because the vehicle was in transit between two states, Hamady stated.
