Munster Police Investigating Shooting
On Friday, August 1, 2025 at 6:45 p.m., the Munster Police Department responded to the 200 block of Adelaide Place in reference to a shooting, according to Munster Police.
A report of a neighbor dispute over dogs involving the discharge of a firearm, was stated in a release the night of the incident.
Officers located a 70-year-old female who was shot multiple times. The female was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. She has since been released.
A subject was detained by officers and questioned at the Munster Police Department. This isolated incident remains under investigation and there is no ongoing threat to the public.
