Munster Police Seeking Assistance Identifying Suspects
On December 9, 2019 Munster Police officers were investigating a possible stolen vehicle in the parking lot of Target on Calumet Ave when the male driver turned the vehicle on and accelerated at a high speed towards one of the officers, but the officer was able to jump out of the way, according to Lt. John Peirick of the Munster Police. The vehicle was then pursued for a short time before being able to elude the officers.
