New Lake County K-9 On The Run
Multiple police agencies are currently searching the Crown Point area for a missing Sheriff K-9 that is brand new to the force. The K-9 named “Dax” ran from the area the handler had him and did not stop witnesses told RNS. The search is concentrated in the area of White Hawk Dr in Crown Point near White Hawk Park. A few residents spotted the K9 but the dog sprinted away quickly. If you see the K9 you should not approach it but call the Police immediately.
We will have further updates on this situation in the morning. Lake County Sheriff’s Department were not immediately available for comment.
