NWR SWAT Executes Early Morning Search Warrant
On Wednesday, February 16, 2022 at approximately 5:45 AM, Northwest Regional SWAT and Hobart Detectives served a search warrant as part of an ongoing drug investigation conducted by the Hobart Police Department, according to Captain James Gonzales.
The Search Warrant was served on the 3700 block of E. 33rd Ave. in Hobart where two people were taken into custody without incident, police said Wednesday morning.
The two individuals taking in custody will be held at the Hobart City Jail. This investigation will be presented to the Lake County Prosecutors Office for the consideration of charges, Gonzales stated.
