Illinois State Police responded to a reported expressway shooting Tuesday morning around 1:45 AM on I-80 near the Torrence Ave Ramp, according to police.
One person was transported to a local area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The condition of the victim currently is unknown.
At approximately 4:50 AM the ramp from Interstate 80 to Torrence Avenue was closed for the investigation; all lanes were reopened at approximately 5:21 AM, police said.
