Over 100k In Damages at New Homes In Schererville
UPDATE – RNS has obtained multiple videos of juveniles damaging this home and causing vandalism in a grocery store. Stay tuned for updates on arrests.
Over the weekend the Schererville Police Department responded to the AmberLeigh subdivision, located on the south side of 77th Ave., West of Augusta Blvd., for two property damage reports, a release said Monday. As seen in the photos, the inside of two homes were destroyed and according to the construction manager officers spoke with, damages are likely to surpass $100K.
Dehumidifiers were shattered, 5 gallon buckets of paint were dumped onto floors, cabinet doors from kitchens and bathrooms were ripped off, closet doors were ripped off, multiple walls/drywall were damaged, toilets and vanities were broken into pieces, light fixtures were destroyed, ladders and 2×4’s were thrown thru windows, and the list goes on…….

That looks like a lot of anger to me and quite personal. I would look at a disgruntled employee or contractor.
If not an employee but kids the parents should pay and the kids snouldvbe forced to work cleaning up all summer
