Police Searching For Man That Ran From St. Mary’s Hospital
UPDATE – Subject in custody, he was taken down near the Deep River Bridge on 61st. Being treated for a dog bite.

Hobart & Lake Station Police along with assistance from The Lake County Sheriff Helicopter are currently searching the area around St. Mary’s Hospital in Hobart for a prisoner that was being treated for a medical condition and fled the hospital. The suspect was arrested on numerous charges including stalking & invasion of privacy prior to fleeing, according to Lake Station Police Chief James Richardson. The white male pictured has been identified as 24 year old Peter Arevalo and frequents the Lake Station & Hobart areas. Arevalo is still known to have shaggy hair at this time.
Residents are asked to call 911 if they see any suspicious activity in the surrounding area.
