Rash of Car Burglaries In Valparaiso
Over the last 24 hours, Valparaiso Police have received numerous reports of items missing from vehicles, vehicles having been entered or rummaged through, and one stolen vehicle report, according to Captain Joe Hall of the Valparaiso Police. In all instances, it was learned the vehicles were unsecured, while others had valuables left within. As police continue to investigate these incidents, police ask that our community members help take action. Part of this will include being diligent in locking vehicles, removing valuables, and utilizing exterior lighting around your home. It will further include reporting any suspicious behaviors or actions that are observed or recorded on exterior cameras and doorbells.
