Road Closures For Protest Along 80/94
Per INDOT I80/94 Westbound at Calumet Ave ramp is closed going into Munster as well as all Calumet Ave Traffic from the River to Ridge Road. The closure is slated for 8 hours.
Highland Police have announced Kennedy Avenue in Highland will be closed for both northbound and southbound traffic at the Little Calumet River, according to Commander John Banasiak of the Highland Police. Kennedy will be closed until further notice. Police will send out a message when Kennedy Avenue opens at the Little Calumet River.
Parking will also be barricaded at the old Coach USA lot as well as along other vacant parking lots in that area as well as empty parking lots along north Kennedy Avenue, Banasiak stated.
In Lansing Torrence Ave Exits will be shutdown at 2pm.
