Rolls Royce Hijacked Leading Police On Pursuit To Lansing

Illinois State Police District Chicago Troopers located a White Rolls Royce which was taken in a vehicular hijacking, around 4:40 AM Saturday.

Troopers tracked the vehicle to 173rd Street and Torrence Ave in Lansing where the vehicle parked. Multiple suspects exited the vehicle into a second vehicle, an Infiniti. A pursuit ensued and ended after the vehicle crashed at 127th Street and Indiana Ave. Three suspects from the vehicle were taken into custody. An unknown number of suspects were seen jumping into the Little Calumet River some with long guns. No shots were fired.

Chicago Police Department (CPD) Marine Units have responded to the scene to assist with the search. This incident is active and ongoing, there is no further information available at this time.

UPDATE – Two bodies have been recovered in the water.
