Schererville Man Dies In Motorcycle Accident
Around 9:40pm Thursday, Schererville Police & Fire responded to the 300 block of Gregory Street for an accident involving a motorcycle, according to Deputy Chief Jeff Cook of The Schererville Police. Preliminary investigation showed the motorcycle was traveling on Gregory Street near South Park Avenue when the driver of the motorcycle struck a parked car on Gregory Street, Police told RNS.
Schererville Police Officers along with the Schererville Fire Dept determined the driver was deceased at the scene. The accident remains under investigation, police stated.
The victim has been identified by The Lake County Coroners Office as Eric Bonelli, 32, of Schererville.
