Second Gas Station Robbed In Dyer This Week
On Saturday, December 23, 2023, at approximately 4:30 AM, Dyer Police Officers responded to a robbery that just occurred at the BP Gas Station located at 3325 Sheffield Ave, according to Dyer Police.
Upon arrival, officers learned that a male black subject entered the business armed with a gun, demanding money and cigarettes from the clerk. The offender fled the scene in black Chevy Cruze with approximately $1,600 U.S. Currency along with 10 cartons of cigarettes.
The vehicle fled westbound on 81st Ave into Illinois.
