Second Shooting Friday Involving AR-15 In Calumet City
A second shooting has occured on 166th St & State Line in Calumet City Friday night around 8:40 PM. Police could be seen marking off 40 plus shell casings of .223 rifle rounds near the corner.
At least one vehicle was found to have been struck in the area. A juvenile was found shot at a local hospital shortly after this incident but we don’t believe they are cooperating with authorities and it is still unknown if he was shot at this location.
Calumet City Police are still currently investigating and were not immediately available for comment.
