Shots Fired In Lansing Sunday Morning
Shortly before 10am Sunday morning shots rang out on the 18300 block of Roy St near the corner of Roy & Illinois St. Witnesses in the area describe hearing 12-15 shots fired off quickly. Police were seen picking up shell casings in the street and photographing bullet holes in a home nearby. There was no reported injuries.
Neighbors describe this area of Lansing as usually quiet and peaceful. Some were in disbelief this could happen on a Sunday morning. Police were still on scene investigating as of 11am.
