
South Bend Pair Charged After Drugs and Gun Seized During Portage Stop
Portage- A South Bend man and woman are facing felony charges in Porter County after a traffic stop led to the seizure of cocaine, marijuana, methamphetamine, a firearm, and additional narcotics concealed on one of the suspects, according to court documents.
On September 28, 2025, around 1:20 a.m., officers with the Portage Police Department observed a gray SUV stop at a toll road plaza lane for no apparent reason before reversing the wrong way on a divided road. The vehicle eventually stopped in the roadway, and officers conducted a traffic stop.
The driver was identified as Michael Corleone Allegretti, 43, of South Bend. Police reported the odor of alcohol and marijuana coming from inside the SUV, and in plain view saw an open bottle of wine and what appeared to be a marijuana blunt.
The passenger was identified as Tierra Mona Gibson, 29, of South Bend.
A K9 alerted to narcotics, and a search of the SUV revealed:
• A marijuana blunt on the center console and another on the passenger seat
• A black plastic bag containing Epsom salts
• A plastic container with a waxy THC substance
• A scale with suspected cocaine residue
• Loose ammunition in the vehicle
• An Altoids container in the driver’s side door containing a bag of suspected cocaine
• A loaded Hi-Point 9mm handgun between the driver’s seat and center console
Inside luggage in the trunk, investigators found:
• 27 grams of cocaine (plastic bag)
• 65 grams of cocaine (plastic bottle)
• 3 grams of cocaine (plastic bag)
• 9 small bottles with a white powdery substance
• A tan powdery substance that tested negative
• A plastic bag with a metal tray and straw coated with a white powder that tested positive for cocaine, fentanyl, and heroin
• A THC pill
• Multiple cut baggies commonly used for drug sales
At the jail, during a further search by a female corrections officer, Gibson was found to have items concealed in her genital region, including:
• A plastic bag with 17 grams of cocaine
• A plastic bag with marijuana
• Four pressed pills (two white, one blue, one red) testing positive for methamphetamine
• An orange pill identified as Adderall (20mg Amphetamine/Dextroamphetamine)
The total weight of cocaine recovered was 115 grams.

• Possession of Marijuana (with prior drug conviction) – Class A Misdemeanor
• Possession of Paraphernalia; Introducing Controlled Substance Into Body – Class C Misdemeanor

• Dealing in Cocaine (over 10 grams) – Level 2 Felony
• Possession of Methamphetamine (under 5 grams) – Level 6 Felony
• Unlawful Possession or Use of a Legend Drug (Adderall) – Level 6 Felony
• Possession of Marijuana – Class B Misdemeanor
