Update – Missing Teen Found Safe
The St. John Police Department was dispatched to the 9600 block of West Oakridge just after 2 AM on December 27, 2019 for the report of a Missing Person. The complainant reported that she had a disagreement with her 16-year-old son at approximately 11:55PM on December 26, 2019, after which he had left the house in an unknown direction on foot. The family has recently moved to the area from Chicago so it is not believed that the boy has any friends in the area. The surrounding area was checked by officers and a K-9 unit with negative results.
The boy’s name is Maxwell Oliver and he is described as a male African American, 16 years of age, 6 foot tall and approximately 160 pounds. He was last seen wearing a black shirt with green lettering “Watch Me Work”, burgundy Adidas track pants with a black stripe, and Champion brand slipper style sandals.
It is not believed at this time that there is any foul play involved. Any information about Max or his where-abouts should be reported to St. John Police or your local police department.
