Stolen Car From Hobart Leads To Arrest In Illinois
On May 22, 2020, Illinois State Police (ISP) Troopers responded to a one unit property damage crash at intersection of US 30 at the Interstate 88 westbound on ramp, according to Illinois State Police. Upon arrival, Troopers conducted a traffic crash investigation and learned the vehicle involved in the crash was stolen out of Hobart, IN. The driver and sole occupant, Todd A. Warner, 19-year old male of Davenport, IA, was arrested and charged with possession of a stolen vehicle, no valid driver’s license, failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident and improper lane usage. Warner was transported to the Whiteside County Jail where his bond was set at $10,000 (10% applies).
