Suspect Crashes Into Dyer Police Car Wednesday
At approximately 2:20 a.m. Wednesday, November 10th, 2021, a Dyer Patrol Officer attempted to stop the driver of a 2010 Nissan Rouge in regards to the manner in which the driver was operating the Nissan while southbound on Sheffield Avenue from Main Street, according to Dyer Police. The driver of the Nissan fled from the attempted traffic stop south on Sheffield Ave. The Nissan eventually came to rest at the interaction of Sheffield Avenue and Monticello Drive after colliding first with a Dyer Patrol vehicle and then with a curb.
