Teen Shot & Killed In Whiting Saturday
Around 5 PM, a shooting in the 1600 block of Laporte Ave in Whiting was reported, according to Whiting Police.
A juvenile male was found shot on arrival and later pronounced deceased at St Catherine Hospital in East Chicago. The victim’s name was not released late Saturday night.
A witness nearby reported to RNS they saw multiple agitated juveniles in the area prior to the shooting, pacing back and fourth as if they were looking for someone.
