Three Arrested On Numerous Charges In Jasper

In the afternoon hours of January 6th, 2020, the Jasper County Sheriff’s Office received a complaint of drug activity and possibly a theft occurring at a residence located approximately 5 miles SW of Wheatfield, Indiana.

Deputies from the Jasper County Sheriff’s Office responded to that location and met with a subject whom identified herself as Lucinda J. Lane (38 years of age) from DeMotte, Indiana. While the Deputies were speaking with Lucinda J. Lane one of the Deputies observed two other subjects walking away from a barn on that same property. When the Deputy order them to stop the two subjects began running. The Deputies followed and a foot pursuit ensued.

Kirstin R. Pasierb (29 years of age) of Pembroke, Illinois was caught by one of the Deputies relatively quickly, however, the other later identified as David M. Culver (40 years of age) from Lake Village, Indiana took a little longer. When David M. Culver was caught, he physically began to resist the Deputy while the Deputy attempted to take him into custody. At one point, David M. Culver struck the Deputy in the head, at which time, the Deputy separated himself from David M. Culver and used his Taser to subdue him. David M. Culver was taken into custody at that time.

The Deputies obtained a consent to search of the residence as-well-as common areas of the barn. A search warrant was sought and granted for a search of a bedroom located in the barn. Inside this bedroom, Deputies located a large amount of evidence of illicit narcotics use (22 syringes, 2 spoons with residue along with multiple baggies with powder residue in them).
