Two Deceased After Portage Domestic Shooting
Portage Officers are currently working a scene in the 6300 block of Monument Avenue in Portage. At 7:41 PM, Portage Officers responded to a report of a domestic disturbance, according to a press release at 8:30 PM, Friday.
As the first responding units approached the home several gunshots were heard from inside. Officers made entry and confirmed there were two deceased adults inside. One surviving adult victim has been transported to the hospital with life threatening injuries. It appears all of the victims are related and the shooter is deceased, Portage Police said.
No officers discharged their weapons during this incident, police said. Portage Police do not beleive there is any ongoing threat to the community.
