Two Gunned Down At Hammond Strip Club Sunday

On December 29th, at approximately 2:15 AM, Hammond police responded to the 2100 block of Summer Street in reference to shots being fired, according to Lt. Steve Kellogg of the Hammond Police Department. Upon arrival, officers located witnesses and one victim in the parking lot. The victim at the scene was a 28-year-old male from East Chicago, Kellogg told Region News.

Witnesses stated that two subjects began arguing with each other in the parking lot and exchanged gunfire. The victim at the scene sustained multiple gunshot wounds and was transported to an area hospital, condition unknown at this time.

A short time later, another victim walked into in the hospital with gunshot wounds that occurred at the same location, Kellogg said. This victim is a 26-year-old male from Gary. The conditions of both suspects/victims are unknown at this time.
