Two Males Shoot Each Other Leaving One Dead In Gary
Around 2:15 PM Tuesday, Gary Police & Fire were dispatched to 36th & Jackson for a gun shot victim. On arrival police found two males shot at the scene. One male was immediately transported to Northlake Methodist and the second male succumbed to his injuries on scene.
At this time police believe this to be an isolated incident involving parties that knew each other. Both victims allegedly shot each other and police recovered two guns on scene, police told RNS. The victim has been identified by The Lake Coroner as Donte Kelly, 27, of Gary.
