Two Shot In SUV On 5th Avenue In Gary
Two males were shot in their SUV on 5th Avenue shortly after the New Year was being celebrated. The two victims drove their shot up Tahoe to Methodist Northlake where a crime scene was established. Detectives were not sure as of 2am where exactly the shooting took place on 5th but the investigation is currently ongoing. One of the victims was transported by UCAN Helicopter to a Chicago Hospital.
This was the first two gun shot victims of 2020 for Gary. Gary ended 2019 with 58 Homicides and around 110 gun shot wound calls.
