Update On Gary Police Officers Injuries
The update on the two Gary Police Officers shot in yesterday’s SWAT standoff is good news. Corporal James Nielsen and Corporal John Artibey are both in good condition and will be recovering at home, according to Lt. Dawn Westerfield. Both were released from Methodist NorthLake last night. Neither officer will be doing interviews on the incident as the investigation is ongoing, Westerfield stated.
