Update On Highland Motorcycle Crash
On Wednesday June 3rd around 9:20pm, Highland Police were dispatched to a personal injury accident involving a motorcycle and a passenger car, Commander John Banasiak told RNS. The accident occurred at 45th & Kennedy Ave in Highland.
It was learned that those involved were a 22 year old female from Highland who was driving a tan 2004 Honda Civic and a 51 year old male from Schererville who was driving a red 2010 Harley Davidson motorcycle. The female was transported to the hospital for chest pain and the male was transported to the hospital for head and leg injuries, Banasiak stated. Neither driver’s injuries appear to be life threatening, Banasiak added. Family reported the male driver of the motorcycle was later transported to a Chicago Hospital for treatment. The accident is still under investigation and police are awaiting toxicology reports.
