Update On Missing Kyrin Carter In Hammond
Hammond Police Department Officers along with Hammond Fire Department, and Porter County Search & Rescue have been out searching the river banks on foot since 5am Wednesday, in potential locations, based on expert opinion (to include the science & evidence they have). Crews also have several volunteers out here, a couple on horseback, Lt. Steve Kellogg of The Hammond Police Department said.
Hammond Police also followed up on two potential sightings so far to no founding. Drones & Lake County Aviation are overhead as well and are focusing on certain areas crews requested.
“If Kyrin Carter is not found today, tomorrow will be more of the same,” Kellogg stated. “We have also had contact with family members and have addressed some of their concerns,” Kellogg added Wednesday.
