Valparaiso Man Charged With Child Molesting
VALPARAISO A 25-year-old Valparaiso man has been charged in connection with multiple incidents involving a 13-year-old girl that allegedly took place in 2019, according to Porter County court records.
According to the probable cause affidavit, the alleged abuse happened between June and July 2019 when the victim was 13 and Dylan Sadlofsky was 18. The victim told police she had been drinking alcohol at an apartment in Valparaiso when some of the incidents occurred.
Court documents state there were additional incidents that summer, including sexual contact in a vehicle and threats made afterward telling her not to tell anyone what happened.
Sadlofsky was 18 years old at the time of the alleged crimes, and the victim was 13.
Charges filed August 14,2025:
• Child Molesting — Level 3 Felony (Count I)
• Child Molesting — Level 3 Felony (Count II)
• Child Molesting — Level 3 Felony (Count III)
• Child Molesting — Level 4 Felony (Count IV)
Lodged in the Porter County Jail on October 10, 2025.
The defendant is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
