Vehicle Crashes Through Whiting Liquor Store
On August 31, 2021 at approximately 7:56pm, Whiting Police were dispatched to 1506-119th Street in Whiting in reference to a vehicle crash with injuries, according to Whiting Police.
A vehicle had crashed into the Paradise Liquors building causing injury to an adult female patron who was then transported to a local area hospital where she was is being treated. The vehicle also struck parked cars in the lot before going into the building. The driver informed officers that brake failure was to blame for the incident, police told RNS.
The incident is pending further investigation.
