Vehicle Strikes School Building Sunday In Hammond
Sunday morning at 4:27AM Hammond Police & Fire responded to Edison Elementary School located at 7025 Madison in Hammond for a vehicle that struck the school, according Lt. Steve Kellogg of The Hammond Police. On arrival police found no one in the vehicle or area. A thorough search came up with no subjects involved. The school suffered damage to a pole, Kellogg stated. The vehicle was towed from the scene. This incident remains under investigation.
