Whiting Police Investigating Teen Shot Saturday Night
Saturday night at approximately 9:10 PM Whiting Police responded to a report of a gunshot fired in the 1300 Blk. of W. Fred St. in Whiting, according to Whiting Police Chief Don Greer.
On arrival at the scene officers located a 15 year old male victim who had sustained an apparent gunshot wound to the head, Greer stated. The victim was transported by Whiting Fire Department EMS to St. Catherine’s Hospital and later transferred to the University of Chicago Medical Center.
