Maurice Martell Gillen Jr., 19, of Portage, Antoine Cory Jolly, 19, of Portage, Kimia Sandriana Danae Green, 22, of Portage, and Myckal Vernell Diangelo Meyers, 21, of Portage, are facing charges after authorities say they robbed and beat a victim in Valparaiso, leaving him “bloody and nearly unconscious.”
According to court documents, the incident happened April 9, 2026, at approximately 7:59 p.m. in the 300 block of Lahonda Drive in Valparaiso. Authorities say the victim knew two of the four suspects involved. Court records allege the four defendants texted the victim to meet up at Burger King, then followed him to the intersection of Lahonda Drive and Baltimore Street. The affidavit states the four exited a vehicle and began striking the victim with fists, feet, and what was described as a possible crowbar. The victim was left “bloody and nearly unconscious” in a yard and was transported for his injuries.
Authorities also allege a second victim was struck several times by the four suspects and suffered a laceration to the right side of his chin that “leaked blood.” Investigators say the group stole a blue iPhone 16 and three house keys during the incident.
The four suspects are lodged in the Porter County Jail.
