Illinois State Police responded to a motor vehicle crash involving a pedestrian and a vehicle Thursday at 3:41 AM, near the Sibley exit on the outbound Bishop Ford.
The pedestrian sustained life-threatening injuries and was pronounced deceased, on scene.
The southbound lanes of Interstate 94 at Sibley Street are closed for the investigation and traffic is being diverted eastbound onto Sibley Street; lanes remained closed through Thursday morning. The investigation is ongoing and there is no further information available at this time, police said.
