Hebron Man Arrested For Child Solicitation
A sitting Hebron School Board Member was arrested Thursday in Goshen after a sting operation by Bikers Against Predators.
Goshen Police Officers were dispatched to the 900 block of W Pike Street around 1:56 PM, Thursday, in reference to a male subject attempting to solicit a minor, according to Goshen Police reports. According to LIVE video on the Bikers Against Predators page (linked in comments) the man drove over 40 minutes to meet a 14 year old girl at a restaurant. Intentions in the messages were sexual in nature from the man.
The suspect, Shawn Ensign, 47, of the 400 block of Birch Drive in Hebron was subsequently arrested at the restaurant on the Facebook LIVE for child solicitation a Level 5 Felony. Shawn was transported to the Elkhart County Jail and later bonded out on a $10,000 bond.
