Male Killed After Fatal Hammond Stabbing
At approximately 3:21 AM, on March 23, 2024, Hammond Police & Fire responded to a domestic disturbance in the 2300 block of 169th. Tragically, during the altercation, a male individual sustained a fatal stab wound to the chest. The victim was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Hammond Police worked diligently to uncover the circumstances surrounding this tragic incident. Every effort is still being made to gather all pertinent information and evidence, Hammond Police said.
Upon the conclusion of the investigation, the findings will be presented to the Lake County Prosecutor’s Office for further action.
