Lake Station Police Conducting Death Investigation
The Lake Station Police are conducting a death investigation suspicious in nature on the 3600 block of Colorado Street according to authorities. The area has been heavily saturated with unmarked cars since about 4:15pm Thursday. At this time we know one male adult is deceased at the residence, according to Captain Dave Johnson of the Lake Station Police. We have learned this investigation stemmed from two concerned family members who called authorities after believing something had happened.
The Northwest Indiana Major Crimes Task Force is also currently on scene assisting with The Lake County Coroner.
It’s unclear at this time when information will be released but this is an active scene as of 9pm. We will update as information becomes available.
