Lansing Police Update On Motel Death Investigation
On January 2, 2020, at approximately 12:12 p.m., the Lansing Police Department responded to the United Motel, located at 2249 Bernice Road, for an unresponsive subject, Lt. Al Phillips of The Lansing Police stated. Upon arrival, officers located a 77 year old female inside of a room who was deceased.
The Lansing Police Department is currently conducting a death investigation, Phillips said. The victim has been transported to the Cook County Medical Examiner’s Office for an autopsy. The Illinois State Police Crime Scene Investigators assisted with processing the scene.
