Numerous Shots Fired At Hammond Home
Hammond Police currently have a block closed off after numerous shots fired calls came in around Midnight. The shooter is believed to have been firing randomly in the air and then reloading at least three separate times. Numerous calls and tips led police to this location.
We will continue to provide updates as this incident unfolds.
Update – Subject is out of the home and detained by the police. No injuries at this scene and suspects family is here along with his pastor. The incident occurred on the 1700 block of 170th Pl, the location was disclosed till now for officer safety. Hammond Police will have an official release in the morning they have told RNS.
